4:30 PM – Scratch Level 1

Today we:

• Learned how to use the ghost effect on sprites
• Learned how to hide and show sprites using a different method
• Finished the Funny Faces project
• Started the Ask Gobo project
• Coded Gobo to speak
• Coded the game to randomly choose a number 1-6
• Code Gobo to say a certain response depending on what number was chosen

Homework:

• Record yourself saying all of Gobo’s responses. You should have six recordings in total (because Gobo has six responses total they could say)
• Code Gobo to play the audio
• For example, record yourself saying “Maybe…”. Title that audio as “Maybe…”. Code Gobo to play the audio if ReplyNumber = 3.
• NOTE: To celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Day, the school will be closed from Friday December 24, 2021 to Sunday January 2, 2022. Our next class will be on Saturday January 8, 2022
