Today we continued the Mina Project. We finished the lines, finished doing the base colors, and started a little bit of the shading on her boots.

During the next few in-class projects, you’re going to be working on an at-home project that will reflect what we are doing in class. We are going to be drawing Nephanee from Fire Emblem. She looks a little complicated, but don’t worry, we are going step-by-step, and each step we have done for the in-class project.
For homework, use this reference picture to draw out only the Step 1: stick figure step, like we did in class.
STEPS:
- Open a new HD canvas (1668 x 2388)
- Import the reference photo of Nephanee
- Lower the opacity of the reference photo layer
- Add a new layer (for the stick figure)
- Use the reference to draw the stick figure only
- Delete the reference layer. (We won’t need it anymore inside the canvas)
