6:30 PM – Scratch Level 1 – Allison

Today we:

1. Started the Dino Dance project
2. Learned about sprites and costumes
3. Learned how to duplicate sprites
4. Learned how to code sprites to switch costumes
5. Learned how to customize costumes

Homework:

1. Read and do the codes in the Scratch book pg. 41-42. Please do the codes in the same project we did in class.
2. If you do not have the book, please use this link to view the pages: Scratch Book Pg 41-42. Note: While the dinosaurs in these pages look different than the ones we have in our project, the codes should be the same. Also, the word “scripts” is like the word “codes”.
3. If you do not have the Scratch book, please ask your guardians and see if you can buy one. An image of the book is attached below.
