6 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

1. Continued the Cheese Chase project
2. Coded the Level Banner to show, use the ghost effect, and hide after the game starts
3. Coded the game to be over when the Mouse sprite touches the Beetle or Ghost sprite
4. Coded Level 2 to start when the score is equal to 30
5. When Level 2 started, we:
   1. Coded the Maze sprite to switch costumes
   2. Coded the Mouse, Beetle, and Ghost sprites to go to a specific place
   3. Coded the Ghost sprite to move faster

Important Reminders:

1. After you finish your homework in Scratch, send an email to allison@ayclogic.com by Tuesday at 8 PM. In that email, write down your name and a link to your shared Scratch project homework. Make sure to share your Scratch project.

Homework:

1. Create a Game Win Banner sprite
2. Code the Game Win Banner sprite to hide when the game starts
3. When the score is equal to 50:
   1. Code the Game Win Banner to show
   2. Code the entire game to stop
