5 PM – Scratch Level 1 – Allison

Today we:

• continued the Name Animation project
• learned how to make a sprite forever change colors
• learned how to make a sprite look like it is glowing by using the brightness effect
• started the Funny Faces project
• drew the Head sprite
• drew the Eyes sprite
• learned how to make a sprite go to the back layer
• learned how to make a sprite go to a specific location

Homework:

• draw a Hair sprite
• add a Bowtie sprite (you can either draw this sprite or add it from the Sprite Library)
• add a Hat sprite (you can either draw this sprite or add it from the Sprite Library) (note: if the hat is too big, code it so the hat’s size is set to a smaller percentage)
• add/draw a background (don’t create a sprite; go to “Backdrops” instead)
• add any other decorations you want for the face by creating sprites
