3pm Scratch Level 1 – Bill

Today We:

1. Went over the Octagon in the shapes in grid printout
2. Moved into Scratch and started a new Shapes In Grid Project
3. Made the Background have the Grid to help us see
4. Learned how to use the Pen tool/extension
5. Drew the Square and Triangle onto the Screen

Your HW:

1. No Class on September 4th, Class will resume on September 11th
2. Broadcast a new message “Rectangle”
3. Add a When I Receive “Rectangle” code
4. Under the When I Receive, draw the rectangle just like the way we drew the Square and Triangle in class
5. Repeat steps 1-3 except make the new message called “Octagon” and draw the octagon
