3 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

• Reviewed last week’s homework
• Added the Arrow sprites
• Coded the Arrow sprites to move
• Finished the Christmas Card project
• Started the Spaceship 2.0 project
• Added the Fireball sprite
• Coded fireball clones to be created when the space key is pressed

Homework:

• Kevin: If you can, upload a picture of yourself for the Face sprite’s costume. If you can’t, use a costume of your choice for the Face sprite.
• Everyone:
• (Optional) If you’d like, you can email your Christmas Card project to your friends and family
• Code the Fireball clones to move upwards after they are created.
• Delete the Fireball clones if they reach the top edge. You cannot use the code “if touching edge”. If you need help, look at the codes that make the Star clones delete when it reaches the bottom edge
• NOTE: To celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Day, the school will be closed from Friday December 24, 2021 to Sunday January 2, 2022. Our next class will be on Saturday January 8, 2022
