5 PM – Scratch Level 1 – Allison

Today we:

1. Coded the Tunnel and Banner sprites to change colors
2. Randomized which Tunnel costume will be used when the game starts
3. Coded music to play when the game starts
4. Coded different music to play when the player wins
5. Finished the Tunnel of Doom project
6. Introduced the Mary Had a Little Lamb project

Homework:

1. Create a new project and title it “Practice 2 – Moving and Talking”.
2. Code the Cat sprite to start from the left edge when the game starts, and then code it to walk to the right edge.
3. Code the Cat sprite to have a walking animation.
4. When the Cat sprite reaches the right edge, code it to say “Go Balloon!”
5. Add a Balloon sprite. Code it to hide when the game starts. When the Cat sprite reaches the right edge, code the Balloon sprite to go to the bottom edge and go up.
