Today we:

1. Continued the Christmas Card – No List project
2. Coded the Name Banner sprite and Merry Christmas Banner sprite to show after the Christmas Tree sprite is clicked
3. Coded the Name Banner sprite to go to a specific place and glide to a different place
4. Coded the Merry Christmas Banner sprite to go to a specific place and glide to a different place
5. Coded a sprite to say Christmas-related dialogue when the Gift Box sprite is clicked
6. Created 3 different Christmas-related dialogue

Important Reminders:

To celebrate Christmas, the school will be closed from Saturday 12/24/2022 – Monday 1/2/2023. There is no class next week. Our next class will be on Wednesday 1/3/2023.

Homework Pt. 1:

1. Download the music at this link: Jingle Bells.
   1. In the Christmas Tree sprite, go to the “Sounds” tab. Click on “Upload Sound” and upload the music to your Scratch project.
   2. Code the music to forever play.
2. If you are unable to download the music, code the song “Odesong” (from Scratch) to forever play.
3. Code the Merry Christmas Banner to point in direction 90 when the game starts
4. After gliding, code the Merry Christmas Banner to forever: point in direction 105, wait 1 second, point in direction 75, wait 1 second.

Homework Pt. 2:

1. Finish your homework by Christmas (12/25).
2. Click the “share” button on your project and copy the link of your project. Email allison@ayclogic.com and gamas@ayclogic.com your name and the link of your project by 12/25. Ask your guardians for help if needed.
