5PM – Advanced Digital Illustration

MONDAY
Today we continued the Penny Haywood project. We finished up the entire sketch now including the hands, legs, hair and broom. The underlaying “body sketch” is turned off, so we can see the work we’ve done clearly, and fix up anything that looks messy.
HOMEWORK
- Continue working on Nephanee. Last week we started to sketch her clothes – continue to add more detail and refinement to sketching her clothes. You can work in as many or as few layers as you want for now.
- FINAL PROJECT is approaching. You don’t need to start on anything yet, but please think about a character you want to draw. It can be any human character, something that already exists, or a character you made up by yourself. We will talk about this in class.
