5PM – Advanced Digital Illustration

Today we continued the Sayu project. We finished the sketching, and transitioned the sketching layer directly into the lines layer. This was done by painting the existing sketch into a black lines color by layer clipping. We also started on the coloring.
HOMEWORK
- Continue working on Lyn. Start to add the shading to each part. You can do this by adding a new layer to shade with, so that the color underneath can remain intact even if any mess-ups happen.
- FINAL PROJECT is approaching. You don’t need to start on anything yet, but please think about a character you want to draw. It can be any human character, something that already exists, or a character you made up by yourself. We will talk about this in class.
