6 PM Introduction to Coding using Scratch

August 16, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

  1. We started “Dino Dance Party” from page 34 until page 41.
  2. Homework:
    1. Learn to open computer in your house.
    2. Learn to launch Web Browser in your house. Preferably Google Chrome
    3. Learn to go to Scratch website: https://scratch.mit.edu
      1. Learn to login to your Scratch account.
      2. Click the “My Stuff” icon on the top right corner after you login.
      3. Learn to open your “Dino Dance Party” project.
    4. Repeat step 1 to 3, 2 more times.
    5. Learn to type (and read) the following words 3 times each in Google Doc:
      1. Motion
      2. Looks
      3. Sound
      4. Events
      5. Control
      6. Sensing
      7. Operators
      8. Variables
      9. Forever
      10. Wait
