6 PM – Scratch Level 2 – Allison

Today we:

1. Fixed coding bugs
2. Coded enemies to delete when they touch the Forcefield
3. Finished the Doom on the Broom project
4. Started the Fire and Ice Fight project
5. Coded two sprites to move when the player presses certain keys
6. Added instructions

Important Information:

1. In honor of Independence Day, the school will be closed from Saturday 7/1 – Friday 7/7. There is no class next week. Our next class will be on Wednesday 7/12.

Important Reminders:

1. After you finish your homework in Scratch, send an email to allison@ayclogic.com by Tuesday at 8 PM. In that email, write down your name and a link to your shared Scratch project homework. Make sure to share your Scratch project.

Homework:

1. Upload one costume for the Wizard-toad sprite from the internet (make sure the character is facing the right)
2. Upload one costume for the Cat sprite from the internet (make sure the character is facing the left)
3. Upload one background from the internet
4. Upload the fireball and ice pictures below
5. Resize your sprites if needed
6. Rename your sprites. (Ex: If I choose an image of Darwin from The Amazing World of Gumball, I would rename Wizard-Toad to Darwin)
