7 PM – Python Game Development
June 9, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
- We went over the homework to create a final project idea.
- We added everyone to their Gitlab repo.
- We went over the example final project proposal and some game assets.
- Homework:
- Create a written proposal similar to the example here. Aim for a single page but you don’t need to start on the plan yet. Also include the win/lose conditions. Make sure you also find some good graphics that include either Photoshop PSD or PNG files.
- Purchase the game asset from https://graphicriver.net
- Download or “clone” the Gitlab repo that you’ve been assigned to.
- If you created a gitlab account using gmail login. That might not work with Pycharm. Therefore, please create a new gitlab account, using a different email, by specifying the username/email and password manually. Don’t use gmail login or Twitter login.
- After you created this new gitlab account, you can email chet@ayclogic.com about this new gitlab account (send him your email that you use for this gitlab account). And he will be able to add you to the project. Or just wait until the next class and the teacher will provide you with some assistance.
