Introduction To Python – Summer 2021 – Online Via Zoom

June 14 to July 21, 2021 – TUE & THU. Online Via Zoom with a live American teacher.

Python is one of the most popular programming languages in the world. A lot of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning systems are made in Python. A lot of web applications are made in Python. It is used by big companies such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon. Software engineers who know Python can easily make 6 digits income annually.

In the Introduction to Python Summer program, students will learn the following

  1. Learn Variables and Data Types
  2. Learn about conditional statements
  3. Learn about control flows
  4. Learn about functions.
  5. Learn about Random Python module.
    1. Create Magic 8 Ball game.
    2. Create hangman game
  6. Learn about Turtle Python module to do drawing in Python.
    1. Create robot builder project.
    2. Create kaleido spiral project.
  7. Simple programs:
    1. Grocery Shopping Cart System
    2. Robux Purchasing System

Policy

  1. There is no refund for this course.
  2. Payment can be made electronically via Zelle. A credit card is accepted, but there is an additional surcharge 3%.
  3. If students miss the class, there is no makeup. But we provide recorded video of the session.
  4. There will be homework and students are expected to do them.
  5. There will be a 2-hour final test at the last session of the course on July 25.
  6. We use this book for this class Python Crash Course 2nd Edition
  7. Windows or Macintosh computer with Python Thonny editor. Python Thonny editor can be downloaded and installed from here: https://thonny.org/
